Deaf Child Worldwide provides advice, resources, and training for organizations working with deaf children. Furthermore, they are the international arm of the UK-based organization, National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS). They help deaf children be included in family, education and community life. Additionally, they research the needs of deaf children growing up in poverty. They also work with partner organizations in Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
Most of the NDCS website, including Deaf Child Worldwide, is accessible for people using screen reading software. For example, linked images use alternative text to describe them for people who cannot see.
