Deaf people, and people with disabilities, have changed the world. Therefore, there are many inspirational disability and deaf role models. In the United Kingdom, organizations produced a collection of 45 posters. Each poster explains the history of one person who achieved something important. The people in these posters have different disabilities. Among these, deaf role models include Ludwig van Beethoven, Helen Keller, Dr. Paddy Ladd, and Evelyn Glennie.

Most of the 45 people in the posters are from Europe or the United States. The collection also published in 2004. As a result, it misses many important disability and deaf role models. For example, it misses people in Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere. In addition, it misses people who accomplished important things after 2004. People will want to research other important deaf role models or people with disabilities.

This PDF file is accessible for people using screen reading software, but with some difficulty.
