In English: IIDI and META
The Inter-American Institute on Disability and Inclusive Development (IIDI) promotes disability inclusion. They focus on human rights and disability-inclusive development in the inter-American region. IIDI also provides technical assistance to governments, and development organizations. IIDI also provides capacity training to young people with disabilities and Deaf people. Meanwhile, IIDI runs the project Movimiento estamos [email protected] en acción (META). META is a network of young advocates with and without disabilities. The META network also promotes disability-inclusive development and equal opportunity for everyone. IIDI and META are active in social media and the web. Relevant web links are listed here.
Most IIDI and META content is in Spanish. But some of their content is in English. Meanwhile, some of their YouTube videos have captions in Spanish. Others have captions in English. They also have a few videos in different sign languages.
