Literacy Skills for Deaf Jamaican Students

A three-year project may improve literacy skills for Deaf Jamaican students. As part of the project, nine schools for Deaf students are implementing a new curriculum in Jamaican Sign Language for students, parents, and teachers. The Jamaican Association of the Deaf (JAD) is implementing the project with funding support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
