People can now reach the Malta police in text via Facebook Messenger. And they can do this even in emergencies to ask for help.

People can now reach the Malta police through Facebook Messenger. In other words, people can ask for emergency help by typing a Facebook text message. The Malta police still encourage people to call by phone in emergencies. But Facebook Messenger is a new option for people who cannot call to reach Malta police. This might be particularly helpful for deaf people.

The web page is partly accessible for people using screen reading software. But some forms and links do not have labels.
