The Rwanda National Union of the Deaf (RNUD) summarizes the situation of Rwanda deaf education in 2013. Furthermore, they highlight the profound need for more research about deaf learners in Rwanda. Additionally, RNUD says that Rwanda Sign Language (RSL) should be the primary language for teaching deaf children. In conclusion, RNUD has recommendations for how to improve the situation of Rwanda deaf education.
