In Kenya, sign language is no longer just for Deaf children. They are trying sign language for everyone in 470 schools across the country.

Kenyan School System is Trying Sign Language for All Children

In Kenya, the government is now experimenting with a pilot program to teach sign language to students in 470 schools across the country. And, no, not only for the Deaf students. Here, they are trying sign language for everyone. This will enable Deaf Kenyan children to communicate with hearing children.
