Program Evaluation Theory and Practice, Second Edition: A Comprehensive Guide

Guides students in the theory and practice of evaluation. Additionally includes different approaches to evaluation and examples of both small- and large-scale evaluations from different fields. Furthermore, this textbook on program evaluation provides learning activities for students. Therefore, it can help students clarify what assumptions they have, work with stakeholders, develop questions, select sampling strategies, analyze data, and explain their findings.

Both authors, Donna M. Mertens and Amy T. Wilson, formerly taught graduate school at Gallaudet University. They also both have years of experience with Deaf communities. As a result, some of the examples in this book refer to evaluations for programs serving deaf people.
